NCR Selects A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions to Provide Extensive eSourcing Technologies and Services

Detailed Vendor Review Confirms A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions as the Best-in-Class eSourcing Solution

PLANO, Texas (March 11, 2003) A.T. Kearney, the global management consulting subsidiary of EDS, today announced that NCR Corporation, a leading global technology company, has selected A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions to provide a full suite of eSourcing technologies and services, formerly referred to as eBreviate. The two-year contract, which was finalized in late January, includes access to A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions RFP, Auction, Sourcing Team Tools and Supply Market Solutions technologies, as well as training through the award-winning online eBreviate Academy.

A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions was selected after an extensive process that included an in-depth look at five other suppliers of eSourcing tools and services. “After piloting A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions tools, then working with one of their competitors for a year, we are confident we made the right decision,” says Sylvia Bilban, NCR’s Quality Director, Global Procurement. “We came back to A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions after a successful pilot, because their solution provides us with the best formula for long-term success—first rate functionality, eSourcing expertise, deep intellectual capital, and a relationship with A.T. Kearney, a recognized leader in strategic sourcing.”

Says Joe Raudabaugh, head of A.T. Kearney Procurement Solutions, “We are pleased that a technology leader like NCR has selected us to provide a full suite of eSourcing solutions. NCR has a clear understanding of the strategic importance of procurement transformation and has demonstrated their leadership in this area by committing to using eSourcing technologies and services for the next two years. We look forward to helping NCR generate tangible results that have a positive impact on their bottom line.”
